MILWAUKEE, WIS. – The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel has officially released the list of southeast Wisconsin's 2017 Top Workplaces. These Top Workplaces were honored at a private event at the Wisconsin Center on Friday, April 28.

Nearly 2,200 organizations throughout the region were nominated or contacted during the selection process. The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, in collaboration with its survey partner WorkplaceDynamics, named 150 companies Top Workplaces. Each winning company received an award for providing employees with an outstanding work environment.

The surveyed companies employ over 100,000 people in southeast Wisconsin. The annual survey is based on employee responses. The program reached an all-time high since 2010, with 107,794 employees receiving surveys and 69,526 responding.

Employers were measured on several qualities such as leadership, career opportunities, workplace flexibility, compensation and benefits, and the impact company policies have on employees' innovation, productivity and morale.
